This role requires a senior project specialist to oversee the General and Acute Care Medicine Flexible Approach to Training in Expanded Settings (FATES) project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all deliverables within set timelines.
- Document and describe RACP GACM accredited training sites and positions across Australia.
- Identify and document the medical workforce filling accredited GACM Advanced Physician Training (APT) roles throughout Australia.
- Develop and describe specialist medical workforce delivering General Medicine clinical services nationwide.
- Lead consultation and renewal of GACM APT accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with existing national and local projects to enhance growth and improve end-to-end training in Regional Rural and Remote locations for specialist General Physicians.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in similar scope and responsibilities.
- High-level project management skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement communications strategies.
- Capacity to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience preparing reports and communications within prescribed guidelines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated administrative, organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to work flexibly within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel Australia-wide if necessary.
- IT capabilities: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and video/teleconferencing platforms.
- Experience working with health service providers and/or knowledge of the healthcare environment in Australia.
