Are you looking for a role that allows you to watch a child develop and flourish? Little Boomers Basketball is seeking Coaches and Mentors who can make a positive difference in the lives of children.

Basketball experience is not a requirement, but it is helpful. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and social skills, and be able to work well with young children.

The role involves coaching and mentoring kids, which can boost self-confidence and self-esteem. Coaching will also help develop communication and social skills, and make you more assertive.

We work around your schedule and commitments, and provide invaluable experience and life lessons through coaching and mentoring. A full coaching training program is provided, including Level 1 accreditation online and on-court training.

The starting hourly rate is $25 per hour, inclusive of superannuation. Once qualified to coach by yourself, the rate will increase to $30 per hour, and then up to $40 per hour depending on performance and consistency.

The ideal candidate will have a driver's licence and own car, as they will need to transport themselves to training sessions and games. They will also need to be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid visa with permission to work.

The role is casual, with expected hours ranging from 3 to 20 per week. You will need to be available every weekend, with fixed shifts on Monday to Friday. We are seeking a long-term arrangement for this role, and kindly ask applicants on temporary working visas to refrain from applying.
