Clinical Systems Application Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Support Specialist to join our Digital and Technology Team as the Clinical Systems Application Specialist. This role is a critical support for our Medical, Nursing and Clinical services teams to connect and deliver better health access and outcomes for regional, rural and remote communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, configure, and ensure the reliable operation of applications and technology that support RFDS' critical clinical business systems.
  • Establish and strengthen strong relationships with key stakeholders to effectively manage incidents, requests, and problems related to clinical systems.
  • Support incident and problem management, system availability and capacity management, and configuration release and change management.
Requirements
  • Formal qualifications in Information Technology or a closely related field.
  • Complex problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical issues and solutions in easy-to-understand language.
  • Experience implementing and supporting clinical business systems.
  • Experience supporting clinical systems SQL databases and industry-standard messaging technologies.
  • Supporting both front and back (end to end) components of our Clinical applications.
  • The ability to export and review application log files.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools.
  • Experience with ITSM Ticket Management, including queue management and triage.
