About The Role

We are seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our Finance team in Macquarie Park for a 12-month maternity leave cover. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and be responsible for calculating and communicating commission payments to sales teams.

The Commercial Analyst will analyse and assess the accuracy of commission and sales reports, calculate and maintain records of sales and commission data, and communicate commission payments to salespeople. They will also coordinate with the sales team on managing deals and resolving commission-related issues.

The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, as well as strong business analysis skills and commercial acumen to build financial models. They will also have excellent MS Excel skills and user knowledge of SAP and TM1.

Requirements
  • Analyse and assess the accuracy of commission and sales reports
  • Calculate and maintain records of sales and commission data
  • Communicate commission payments to salespeople
  • Coordinate with the sales team on managing deals and resolving commission-related issues
  • Evaluate commission guidelines periodically and suggest improvement measures
