Corporate Insolvency Specialist Opportunity

Seeking an ambitious Corporate Insolvency Specialist with 1-3 years' experience to join a growing specialist firm in Brisbane.

This role involves actively managing day-to-day operational aspects of formal insolvency appointments, including trade-on management, asset realisations, and statutory compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage formal insolvency assignments with senior staff on advisory engagements, including Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) and turnaround assignments.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, investigations, and reporting to identify key issues and potential recoveries.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, recommendations, and correspondence for creditors, financiers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Build professional relationships with clients, legal advisors, banks, and other relevant parties.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in maintaining working papers and case files.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of direct experience in Corporate Insolvency and/or Restructuring in an accounting firm environment.
  • Qualifications:
    • A relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g., Accounting, Commerce, Finance).
    • Currently studying towards or having completed your CA or CPA qualification.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • A strong interest and drive to learn within the insolvency and restructuring field.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
    • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
