Senior Corporate Insolvency Specialist

Seeking an ambitious Corporate Insolvency Specialist with 1-3 years' experience to join a growing specialist firm in Brisbane.
This role involves actively managing day-to-day operational aspects of formal insolvency appointments, including trade-on management, asset realisations, and statutory compliance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage formal insolvency assignments with senior staff on advisory engagements, including Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) and turnaround assignments.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, investigations, and reporting to identify key issues and potential recoveries.
- Prepare clear and concise reports, recommendations, and correspondence for creditors, financiers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Build professional relationships with clients, legal advisors, banks, and other relevant parties.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in maintaining working papers and case files.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-3 years of direct experience in Corporate Insolvency and/or Restructuring in an accounting firm environment.
- Qualifications:
- A relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g., Accounting, Commerce, Finance).
- Currently studying towards or having completed your CA or CPA qualification.
- Skills & Attributes:
- A strong interest and drive to learn within the insolvency and restructuring field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
