Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in managing supply chain operations, including logistics, inventory management, and fleet management.

About the Role

The Senior Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for performing, managing, and accountable for material logistics services. Duties will include:

  • Addressing complex problems and mitigating risks that would otherwise cause delays and significant expenditure of resources.
  • Performing material management planning and scheduling.
  • Inventory management, including maintaining stock levels at locations and ensuring the integrity of material control data and inventory management system data.
  • Managing delivery and supplies of approved material subcontractors.

This role requires regular travel to various locations to support operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a small to mid-sized team consisting of experienced professionals and leading, directing, and reviewing the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
  • Communicating with parties within and outside of own work area, which may include external customers or vendors.
  • Advanced understanding of warehousing, inventory, freight, and distribution procedures and systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of fleet management and disposal processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of key performance indicator measurement and reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of material management planning and development.
  • Advanced knowledge of supply support optimisation and efficiencies.
  • Practical knowledge of import and export operations.
  • Practical knowledge of contracts.
