About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Engineer to join our architecture team at HuntsBot. This team is responsible for shaping the future of engineering at our company as we scale up to meet the demands of our growing customer base.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a web application that our customers love. You will be a thought leader for front end development at HuntsBot and will help coach our team of front end engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecting the next iteration of our web application using React and other front end technologies.
  • Collaborating with our design and product teams to build a customer-centric front end that scales with our business.
  • Empowering the team to deliver modern front end features such as real-time messaging, localization, and accessibility.
  • Operating at a high standard of engineering and coaching our team to deliver at the same standard.
  • Using your architectural skills and deep knowledge of patterns to accelerate our legacy JavaScript to React migration.
  • Working closely with our architecture team and backend counterparts to influence our system high-level design principles and ensure our front end architecture aligns with them.
  • Rotating between projects and committing to continuous learning with our lean Kanban processes.
  • Working with a cloud native architecture that includes React, TypeScript, Python, Django, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Requirements
  • 6-8+ years of front end software engineering experience.
  • Deep knowledge of and experience with patterns such as Singleton, Observer, Strategy, Decorator, Flux, and Dependency Injection.
  • Experience building reliable and scalable software solutions with a team of software developers using React.
  • Expert level experience with TypeScript.
  • Excellent design and CSS skills to ensure that our front end has a UI/UX that customers love.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining business-critical web applications at scale.
  • A coach who has experience growing technical leadership on an engineering team.
  • Familiarity with agile and software development practices such as Scrum/Kanban, CI/CD, test automation, and infrastructure as code.
