Job Opportunity

This role involves supporting children and young people in foster care to safely connect with their families and significant others. You will facilitate family time sessions, provide mentoring in various settings, and maintain accurate records and reports.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, report writing and documentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Flexibility and adaptability are also essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Facilitate safe and meaningful family time sessions for children and young people.
  • Mentor children and young people across a variety of settings.
  • Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with families and carers.
  • Provide accurate written updates, reports, and case documentation.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Report writing and documentation skills, with confidence using software systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work non-standard hours.
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
