Senior Counsel Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lawyer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced legal professional to provide timely and strategic legal advice and assistance to senior management.
The role involves working closely with the Director of Legal and Integrity to provide high-level legal, strategic and management advice and support to executive management. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing timely and comprehensive advice on issues related to court operations, including workplace relations matters;
- Delivering expert, authoritative and strategic legal advice and counsel on critical issues that impact the court;
- Assisting in managing processes and complying with statutory and administrative guidelines relating to workplace relations;
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Tertiary qualifications in law and admission as a practitioner of the High Court or Supreme Court of Australia;
- 3+ years of experience as a legal practitioner or in-house counsel, legal officer or equivalent position within either the private or public sector;
- Experience in labour law and dealing in workplace relations is highly desirable;
