Business Partner Role Summary

This Business Partner role is an essential part of our Human Resources function, focusing on delivering strategic and operational HR services to the organization.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to line managers and employees across various HR-related matters, including talent management, employee relations, coaching, training, and development. They will also work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement business strategies that align with company objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with leadership teams to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes to achieve business goals.
  • Providing comprehensive HR support to line managers, including advice on labor legislation, policies, and procedures, as well as assistance in resolving HR-related issues.
  • Collaborating with other HR functions to champion a culture of excellence and drive business results through people initiatives.
  • Developing and implementing HR programs and projects that align with company objectives and enhance employee engagement.

Talent Management and Development:

The Business Partner will play a key role in identifying and developing talent within the organization, working closely with senior leaders to develop strategic plans for succession and talent pipeline development.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

They will work closely with line managers and employees to resolve HR-related issues, provide coaching and development opportunities, and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Business Partner capacity.
  • Strong systems knowledge, including Excel, PowerPoint, reporting, and HRIS/Payroll.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian/New Zealand employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence leaders.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into strategic HR initiatives.
