About the Role

Aptella PaveSmart is seeking a skilled Survey Technician to join our team in Hobart, TAS. As a Survey Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our asphalt paving operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with site supervisors and engineering staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Utilize proprietary PaveSmart technology and level control systems to maintain accurate depth levels and smoothness requirements.
  • Install and maintain control networks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with plant operators and site staff to ensure level controls are maintained.
Requirements
  • Survey experience with a focus on asphalt paving.
  • Current driver's license and construction induction card.
  • RII and/or VOCs certification (nice to have).
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Able to work day, night, weekends, and away from home as needed.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and police check.
