As a Quality and Education Manager, you will play a pivotal role in empowering your team to deliver high-quality care that truly makes a difference. You will be based in a welcoming 108-bed care home where each day brings new opportunities to coach, mentor and lead with purpose.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Nursing degree and current APHRA registration. Strong interpersonal and delegation skills are also essential, as well as a passion for development, training and education. A postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) would be highly regarded but not necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality-focused leadership and coaching to ensure care and services meet expected outcomes.
  • Develop team members' knowledge and understanding of expectations of practice within the framework of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Maintain the Care Home's Plan for Continuous Improvement in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Ensure Government NQIP program data is submitted in line with Bupa timeframes, analyzed, and improvements documented and actioned.
  • Coordinate and complete monthly Care Home Audits within the Operations Essential audit program.
  • Manage and deliver the highest quality clinical care of Residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA registration.
  • Strong interpersonal and delegation skills.
  • A passion for development, training and education.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) desirable.
  • Proven track record in identifying, delivering and maintaining quality clinical care, coaching & training.
  • Demonstrated success in overcoming and managing non-compliance in staff training.
  • Ability to foster a team environment and build collaborative relationships.
  • Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
  • An extensive understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
