Job Title: VP of Corporate Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Corporate Finance to join our team at SGS Société Générale De Surveillance SA. As a key member of our corporate finance team, you will be responsible for providing senior support for M&A and Equity Private Placement transactions in the Energy Transition sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new business opportunities and support the execution of M&A and EPP deal transactions in the Energy sector.
  • Hold a key leadership role in the transaction execution process, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive deal success.
  • Perform complex financial modeling, including valuation and pricing analyses, to support deal negotiations and execution.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, pitchbooks, and marketing materials to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, driving business growth and expansion across industries.
  • Collaborate with other team members and colleagues to leverage market intelligence and improve capabilities within the team.
  • Provide guidance and development opportunities to junior team members, including task delegation and review.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the market and industry trends, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • At least 6 years of experience in M&A or investment banking, with a strong track record of deal execution and client relationship management.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of M&A transactions, financial modeling, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the Energy Transition sector.
