Pharmacist Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team in South East Queensland's Western Darling Downs region.

  • This role involves dispensing and counseling patients alongside an experienced team of pharmacists and technicians.
  • The successful candidate will work with the Z dispense system, managing a busy script trade, and have experience with methadone dispensing.

About the Role:

The Pharmacist will be responsible for:

  • Dispensing medications to patients
  • Counseling patients on medication use and potential side effects
  • Managing patient records and updating them as necessary

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Experience with Z dispense system
  • Methadone dispensing experience preferred but not essential
  • Vaccination experience preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities

Benefits:

  • $70 per hour + superannuation (Monday to Friday)
  • $75 per hour + superannuation (Saturday)
  • Mileage reimbursement ($0.99 per km) or flights to Toowoomba/Wellcamp or Brisbane
  • Self-contained accommodation with car parking within walking distance from the store

Accommodation Details:

The accommodation is self-contained with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, all linen provided.
