Transform Data, Drive Business Forward

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Transformation Expert to lead our migration of data from legacy platforms to a modern infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in planning and executing this transformation, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient business operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze data sources, workbooks, and flows that require migration, including published and embedded data sources.
  • Collaborate with content owners, site admins, and business stakeholders to plan remediation and archival of identified content.
  • Create replacement data sources with Redshift as the source for each Netezza data source in scope for re-pointing.
  • Work with site admins and stakeholders to obtain test and UAT approval and deploy new content to the Production environment.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) and hand over to support.
  • Mentor offshore developers where required.
  • Partner with project managers, iteration managers, tech leads, and site admins/stakeholders to identify and plan development for iterations, identify blockers, and suggest recommendations to mitigate blockers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in a Business Intelligence role.
  • Strong banking or finance domain knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Cognos.
  • Significant experience with Power BI architecture, design, and implementation for large organizations.
  • Data migration expertise, ideally with Cognos and AWS.
  • Stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate complex environments to ensure best outcomes.
  • Project discipline and ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Experience managing large datasets to ensure integrity, quality, accuracy of data for analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven capability to articulate and present complex information.
