Job Title: Data Center Security Program Manager About the Role:

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the security of all AWS global infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, planning, and implementing secure infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Planning: Define project scope and design security systems to ensure the highest level of protection for our customers' data.
  • Procurement: Engage in best practice procurement processes to source the necessary equipment and services.
  • Financial Management: Contribute to financial processes and manage all approvals to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Project Execution: Implement projects at pace while maintaining the highest standard of quality.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Test and commission projects to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Handover: Complete a thorough handover to the operations teams, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
A Day in the Life:

You will be involved in the security design process across many AWS sites, preparing bills of materials to secure funding for your projects. You will plan ahead to meet critical milestones that, if missed, will impact other functions of the wider project. Execute and monitor project risks closely as you work toward handover to the operations teams. Keeping accurate records is part of the role and forms the final phase of the project.
