About the Role

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Southern Cross Care, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and clients.

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care while supervising and guiding personal care workers. You will work collaboratively with other staff and qualified practitioners to provide proactive, person-centered service and support that is safe and effective.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting independence and helping residents regain their confidence and engage in meaningful activities
  • Working positively and collaboratively with other staff to provide proactive, person-centered service and support
  • Ensuring medications are administered in a timely and safe manner
  • Providing assistance, guidance, direction, support, mentoring, and coaching to Personal Carers
  • Maintaining current knowledge of contemporary best practice clinical care within the scope of enrolled nursing practice
  • Reporting any risks that have the potential to cause an accident or injury
  • Keeping detailed records and ensuring comprehensive handovers between shifts
