Job Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment, with a focus on ensuring the highest level of safety standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities include utilizing technical skills and experience to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard, reporting daily to the Shift Supervisor and ultimately being under the management of the State Service Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of ground support equipment to identify areas requiring repair or maintenance.
  2. Implement effective solutions to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
  4. Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Relevant Mechanic Trade Qualification.
  2. Own tools.
  3. Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.
  4. Current and valid Driver's License.
  5. A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
  6. Experience working within procedural guidelines.
  7. Good communication skills and proactiveness.
