Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of our AI software. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models for business applications, providing methodology, strategy, and solutions for real-world, industrial-scale, and mission-critical business operations.
  • Develop AI/ML Models: Design and develop AI/ML models for business applications, leveraging expertise in time series forecasting, machine learning, and deep learning.
  • Build and Integrate Models: Build and integrate models into a full-functioning AI business software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Interact with Clients: Collaborate with business clients to understand their requirements, propose AI software solutions, and deliver and present AI software to clients.
  • Data Preparation and Model Training: Prepare and preprocess data sets, train and test models, and perform model feature engineering to ensure optimal results.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document data dictionary, data understanding, modeling strategy, and approaches, and build the company's knowledge base of data and models.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven ability to work with large structured and unstructured datasets, with a strong background in machine learning and deep learning.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent hands-on code development skills in Python, with good knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks and packages, including Keras, TensorFlow, MXnet, Scikit-Learn, and cloud technology (Amazon, Azure, etc.).
  • Education and Certifications: PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years of Artificial Intelligence experience and 3 years of Machine Learning experience.
  • Additional Qualifications: Background in Property and Casualty Insurance is a big plus, with expertise in data Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) in big data environments (Spark, Hadoop, SQL) and domain knowledge in financial and insurance industries.
