Job Overview

This role is responsible for producing high-quality design documentation and coordinating projects to ensure successful project delivery. The Senior Design Documenter will contribute across a range of projects within our national team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Produce comprehensive design packages in accordance with the project brief, ensuring timely submission and compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Coordinate with consultants and authorities to obtain necessary documentation, streamlining project processes and improving collaboration.
  • Develop effective communication strategies to ensure seamless project standards coordination with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Manage transmittals, submittals, design models, shop drawings, and schedules, ensuring accurate and efficient project administration.
  • Verify that all documentation meets contract requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.
About You / Qualifications

We seek a highly skilled Senior Design Documenter with over 7 years of experience in professional design and construction environments. Ideally, you will have a strong background in commercial projects, with qualifications in Architecture, Building Design, or a related discipline. You should be able to prepare accurate and clear drawing packages from concept through to construction.

Required skills include:

  • Proficiency in Revit with ability to work with templates, use schedules, and amend families.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • Experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage documentation and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maximize efficiency and deliver high-quality results.

Desirable: Construction background; experience working with clients, building surveyors, and third-party consultants.
