As a skilled Asphalt Plant Operator at Boral, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our asphalt plants. Your duties will include:
- Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs and utilizing the docket dispatch system;
- Front-end Loader & Bobcat operation
- The safe and efficient operation of Asphalt plants
- Day-to-day administration of the Plant including stock control of raw materials;
- Work closely with the laboratory team;
- General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant batching and/or asphalt industry experience;
- A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus;
- FEL ticket (desirable);
- Other tickets that would benefit are; Forklift, EWP, Confined Space,
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to multitask and prioritise competing deadlines;
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday Dayshift hours and, Sunday to Friday Night Shift including overtime hours when required;
