About the Role:

This innovative allied health team is seeking a New Graduate Occupational Therapist to join their mobile, community-based setting. The ideal candidate will be supported every step of the way as they build their skills and confidence across a diverse caseload of clients, including children and adults. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates to develop their clinical foundation, explore different areas of occupational therapy, and work closely with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapy planning and intervention delivery for adults and children
  • Assistive Technology (AT) trials and prescription
  • Minor home modifications
  • Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments and reporting
  • Housing & Living SDA/SIL assessments and reporting
  • Goal setting and outcome tracking
  • Mental health and psychosocial support interventions
  • Telehealth consultants to assist rural populations

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full AHPRA registration + insurance
  • Own car and current driver's license
  • CPR/ First aid (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current police check (or willingness to obtain)
  • COVID vaccinations (up to date)
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
