Occupational Therapist Career Starter

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services.

About the Role:

  • This 12-month graduate program provides a structured learning experience with a gradual ramp-up period to help you transition from studies to real-world practice.
  • You will work in both our clinic and out in the community, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to clients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and ongoing assessment and evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to policy and procedure development.

Requirements:

  • A completed Bachelor AND/OR Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full Registration (or eligible on graduation) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • A valid Australian driver's licence and access to a car.
  • Unrestricted Australian work rights.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to cultivate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
