Occupational Therapist Role Overview
Mindplace is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support clients with mental health, psychosocial disability, or functional limitations. This clinical role involves working closely with individuals to improve their daily functioning and overall wellbeing.

Job Description:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' functional abilities and psychosocial needs.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to enhance independence, coping strategies, and life participation.
  • Support clients in building skills for self-care, work, education, and community engagement.
  • Apply mental health-informed strategies including stress management, sensory regulation, and activity-based interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.

Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • 3–5+ years of clinical experience in occupational therapy (mental health, rehabilitation, or community care highly regarded).
  • Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
