Job Description

This role involves supporting the care and well-being of residents in a residential care setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently, and possess a Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle.

About the Role
  • Support the goals of care for residents in partnership with each resident and/or their representative.
  • Identify barriers that prevent consumers from participating in meaningful and enjoyable activities.
  • Encourage the wellbeing and independence of residents by supporting them to engage in preferred activities and interests.
  • Embody a person-centred approach, recognising and promoting the individual's unique goals and preferences.
  • Participate in risk management and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver positive outcomes for residents.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate compassion, empathy, and advocacy. A key requirement is having excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure the best possible resident experience, teamwork, and standard of care.
