About the Role:- Establish trust with clients, families, and carers to deliver tailored support
- Provide case management and connect clients with suitable resources
- Develop and implement culturally sensitive programs that promote social and emotional wellbeing
- Enhance access to mental health services within the community
- Empower community members to take control of their own health and wellbeing
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize service delivery
To succeed in this role, you will have experience working in the mental health sector and/or a relevant qualification in a related field. You should also possess a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, with strong local community connections being highly valued.
You will bring a range of skills and qualities to this role, including goal setting, identifying client needs, building positive relationships, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective organizational skills. Above all, you will be committed to teamwork, community care, and culturally safe practice.
