Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering

What We Offer:

  • A Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade qualification over 48 months.
  • A combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned maintenance and breakdown repairs of diesel mining equipment.
  • Mark out jobs, set up machines, prepare materials, tools and fixtures for machining.
  • Undertake machining operations, such as drilling, reaming, turning, milling, grinding and boring.
  • Service, repair and maintain existing mining equipment.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with good mathematical skills.
  • Ability to commence in January 2026.
  • Commitment to both on and off the job training.
