Indirect Tax Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Lawyer to join our team on a 12-month parental cover contract.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented junior lawyer to work closely with highly regarded partners and senior practitioners across our Transactions group, specialising in stamp duty and GST.

As a member of the team, you will have significant exposure to clients, assisting and working on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and drafting. You will also work collaboratively with peers across other practice groups within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice on indirect tax matters;

  • Assisting with complex transactions and negotiations;

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients;

  • Working collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' post-qualified experience in indirect tax;

  • Strong academic record;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;

  • Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
