Housekeeping Operations Manager

About this Opportunity
This position is based at the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere. Reporting to a senior manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of housekeeping, public areas cleaning and laundry sections. This includes optimizing labor and providing service delivery in a proactive and professional manner to support room services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate staffing between housekeeping and laundry teams to meet business demands.
- Work closely with all staff members and management to ensure optimum efficiency and open relationships.
- Promote cohesion in teams and resolve internal issues and concerns.
- Ensure safe practices, relevant laws and regulations, and risk management are observed.
- Manage daily rosters and schedules through housekeeping and laundry teams to maximize efficiencies.
- Provide supervision and guidance to teams to ensure high-quality work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar management role.
- Located in Australia (NSW preferred) with full working rights.
- Hotel or hospitality accommodation experience in Australia is advantageous.
- A diploma or higher in tourism and hospitality management would be an advantage.
