About Our Analytics Engineering Manager Role
Our Product Insights Enablement group empowers product teams to build confidently with data.

The central engine for user behavior analytics is the Product Analytics team. Our mission is to make behavioral data discoverable, trustworthy, and actionable—so teams can ask better questions, run meaningful experiments, and design delightful experiences.

We're seeking a skilled Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact team working at the intersection of data analytics, platform infrastructure, and frontend instrumentation. This role will involve managing a team of backend and frontend engineers responsible for the systems that capture, enrich, expose and connect user behavior and system telemetry.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Leading and Mentoring: Lead and mentor a team of engineers building the data infrastructure, backend services, and clients to capture and connect behavioral analytics and system telemetry.
  • Driving Design and Evolution: Drive the design and evolution of scalable event ingestion and processing systems.
  • Partnering with Teams: Partner with teams across product, infra, and data to ensure systems are impactful and reliable.

  • Leadership: Foster a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and inclusive leadership.
  • Distributed Systems: Have a deep understanding of distributed systems, event processing, or analytics pipelines.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Love coaching engineers across both frontend and backend, and guiding architecture decisions.
  • Data Ethics: Care about data ethics and apply privacy-by-design principles in your work.
  • Communication: Value clear, concise communication – whether it's explaining technical decisions, guiding your team, or aligning with stakeholders, you make complex ideas accessible to everyone.
