Project Coordinator Opportunity

A dynamic role has become available for a Project Coordinator to join our Workplace Services Team. The successful candidate will support the Program Manager or Senior Project Officer with the coordination of development, implementation, and evaluation of construction office accommodation refurbishments or fit-out projects.
The primary focus will be to assist the Program Manager or Senior Project Officer with stakeholder communications, procurement of suppliers, program preparation, financial management, contractor performance, and project evaluation. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients and contractors on design and coordination issues on site.
This position will also involve technology upgrades related to office accommodation. To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate experience and knowledge of end-to-end project delivery, including procurement, contract administration, and construction management.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Program Manager or Senior Project Officer with project coordination tasks.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contractors.
- Manage tendering procedures and oversee construction contractors.
- Prepare and review project documentation.
- Collaborate with clients and contractors on design and coordination issues.
- Experience in project coordination or a related field.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, construction management, or equivalent.
- Salary Grade 07/08.
- Hybrid work arrangements with office attendance required.
- Temporary opportunities up to 12 months.
