Disability Support Worker Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing client-centered care and support services throughout Victoria. Your role will involve assisting clients with daily activities, providing personal care, and supporting them in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with community access and recreational activities
  • Personal Care (showering, dressing, bowel care, and toileting)
  • Manual Handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility such as wheelchairs and hoists
  • Physical Therapy/Hydro support
  • Transportation and supporting social engagement
  • Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning

Requirements:

  • The legal right to work in Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid (Valid for three years) and CPR (Valid for 12 months)
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Related Qualifications (e.g., Certificate in Disability, Aged Care, and/or Home and Community Care)
  • License and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (for Community Access)
  • Covid-19 Vaccination
