About the Role
This is a 36-week placement opportunity for an Electrical Engineering student to gain hands-on experience with our team at Stanwell Power Station. As a student in your 2nd or 3rd year of study, you will have the chance to apply your theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, working alongside experienced engineers and subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical design and project work, including change management processes.
- Contribute to plant or process investigations, including root cause failure investigations and review of operational plant data.
- Promote a safe work environment by conducting on-the-job risk assessments.
- Assist engineers during major outages, allowing you to observe and learn from experienced professionals.
- Update documentation and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
About You
- You have completed your 2nd year of Electrical Engineering study and are passionate about ongoing learning and development.
- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of initiative to promote our values in everything you do.
- You are interested in potential future opportunities within Stanwell Corporation.
