Store Leadership Role

The role of Store Manager is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the growth of our retail operation in Kiama.

As a full-time Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring team members are well-trained and equipped to achieve individual and team performance goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, developing and managing a high-performing team of paid employees and volunteers
  • Delivering exceptional customer service experiences every time
  • Embedding operational and visual merchandising excellence
  • Driving sales and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) for the store
  • Championing donor standards and best practices in product sorting, pricing and placement
  • Building and supporting a strong volunteer workforce and engaging with the local community
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and promoting a "safety first" culture in store

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in managing retail stores, preferably in fashion or high-volume retail environments, or strong leadership potential with excellent fashion sense
  • A customer-focused mindset and ability to drive results through customer satisfaction
  • Effective people management skills, including training, coaching and development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track sales performance and drive team success
