About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at ORS Group. As a key member of our national team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation, and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and assessments to improve participants' quality of life, including increasing skills and enhancing independence.
  • Work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for participants.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, or Nursing.
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or the ability to become registered.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable).
  • A car and licence.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one before commencement.
