Job Title: Graduate Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to take the first step in their electrical engineering career.

This role will see you working closely with our experienced engineers to deliver design completion and defect artefacts in accordance with the practical completion's delivery programme. You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation for project works using standard drafting procedures with CAD equipment & software.
  • Preparing technical documentation, conducting site inspections, marking up drawings and backdrafting as required.
  • Providing detailed designs, specifications and calculations in consultation with senior Engineers.
  • Reporting and progress tracking within relevant registers for meeting and communication to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Providing input into the necessary documentation applicable to Completions and Commissioning.
  • Managing technical queries, drawings registers and document control.

To be successful, you will have:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role within the Mining and Construction Industry.
  • A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Associate Diploma of Electrical Engineering (AD).
  • Knowledge of LV power system modelling and lighting modelling software such as PowerCAD, AGI/Dialux.
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines with well-developed organisational skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, team player and strong work ethic.
