**About the Role**
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to join our Operations, People and Safety Team based from Tumut.
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of technical works encompassing the maintenance, construction, inspection and operation of equipment related to energy transmission and distribution systems.
**About You**
As an experienced Electrical Technician, you bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table. Your background includes:
- Application of Electrical Technician trade skills in the energy Transmission and Distribution environment.- Extensive experience in selecting, testing, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of Electrical infrastructure.- Proficiency in High and Low Voltage switching and permit issuance.- A commitment to audits and safety processes, ensuring compliance with business requirements.- Implementation of enterprise WHS and Environmental procedures.- Adherence to business and industry standards, contributing to the role of an Electrical Technician.
**Your skills extend beyond technical expertise**:
- Effective problem-solving during unplanned events.- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.- Basic computer proficiency relevant to the role.- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling professional communication with stakeholders and customers.
**Required Qualifications**- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (plus Qualified Supervisors Certificate) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications- Drivers Licence- Qualified Supervisors Certificate- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert- Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role
