We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead the development and implementation of data analysis, visualization, and reporting capabilities to support Queensland Treasury's business strategy and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide accurate and insightful information to support business decision-making, ensuring timely and authoritative information delivery.
- Project Planning and Execution: Deliver business intelligence strategy and initiatives, promoting the benefits of information analysis and preparing reports/analysis to inform and aid understanding and decision-making.
- Data Architecture Development: Manage data architecture development and upgrade to improve data warehousing and storage solutions, enhancing the business intelligence technical environment.
- Business Intelligence Frameworks: Establish and maintain business intelligence frameworks to ensure consistent, timely, and authoritative information delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Data Analytics team to maintain high-quality business intelligence capability.
- Experience and Knowledge: Experience and knowledge of major statistical programming languages such as SQL, Python, and SAS, familiarity with data analysis and warehousing applications, and understanding of the latest technology and cloud and storage solutions.
- Leadership and Project Management: Experience leading teams and projects with a broad applied knowledge of agile methodology.
