Macro-Fiscal Policy Expert

The role of a Macro-Fiscal Policy Expert is to engage with governments, international organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance their capacity to design and implement effective macro-fiscal policies. This includes monitoring economic developments, analyzing fiscal issues, and preparing medium-term macroeconomic projections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to governments and international organizations on macro-fiscal policy issues;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement country-level programs that address fiscal challenges;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date macroeconomic databases.
Selection Criteria
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Public Finance, or a related field;
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect and analyze data to inform policy decisions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
