Financial Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our organisation.

About the Role

The Financial Assistant will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, including 3-way matching to purchase orders and receipting. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with financial software, including SAP and Microsoft applications. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full end-to-end accounts payable, including 3-way matching to POs and receipting
  • Process invoices using SAP with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and KOFAX OCR
  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure timely payments
  • Support a paperless, systemised, semi-automated AP function
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong accounts payable background with proven full-function capability
  • Solid experience with 3-way PO matching and receipting
  • Prior exposure to SAP (VIM), KOFAX OCR, or similar systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
