Job Description:

Platinum Blasting Services is expanding its team of skilled professionals and seeking experienced shotfirers and MPU operators to join our crew in the Bowen and Galilee Basins.

  • We are looking for dedicated individuals who possess previous experience as a shotfirer or MPU operator in quarries, gold, or coal mines.
  • Successful candidates must hold a Standard 11 qualification or be willing to obtain one.
  • A valid QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one is also required.
  • Candidates should have relevant qualifications, licenses, and clearances for the role they are applying for.
  • A strong can-do attitude and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
  • Applicants must be fit and healthy, with the ability to pass pre-employment checks, including medicals and national police background checks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a shotfirer or MPU operator
  • Standard 11 qualification or willingness to obtain
  • QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card or ability to obtain one
  • Relevant qualifications, licenses, and clearances
  • Strong can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
