As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high levels of attention to detail. You will plan deliveries to optimise service levels and customer satisfaction without compromising safety and quality standards.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level customer service
- Ensuring required fleet matches delivery plan
- Accurate delivery of correct orders to customers
- Liaising with sales, warehouse and transport providers to resolve urgent and critical customer requirements
- Managing driver and wait times to reduce yard wait time
- Performing load checks and auditing loads and load restraint
- Signing off safety checklists and adhering to health and safety policies
- Completing paperwork and administration duties in a timely and accurate manner
We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused individual with outstanding problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of the transportation industry and loads, and be a highly organised team player with exemplary attention to detail.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Reliability, punctuality, commitment and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Experience and knowledge of the transportation industry and load compliance
- Customer service and relationship management mindset with high-level negotiation skills
- Agile mindset with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, JDE/SAP, Sparks desirable
