Senior Advisor - Research and Development Incentives

This is a key role within the R&D Incentives team.

About the Role

The role involves providing expert advice to clients on government incentives, working closely with innovative companies to identify and pursue relevant funding opportunities, reviewing technical information to match it to program requirements, and analysing financial data to identify eligible costs for government support.

You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders in government and the innovation ecosystem, supporting clients with their dealings and responses with government bodies, and rapidly reviewing technical information to ensure compliance with program requirements.

As a member of the R&D Incentives team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality advice and support to clients, using your expertise to help them navigate complex challenges and achieve their goals.

Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to think critically will enable you to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, while your passion for R&D innovation and commitment to delivering excellent results will drive your success in this role.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in engineering, science, commerce, law or related field, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, a strong work ethic, and 4+ years experience in R&D Tax Incentives & Grants.
