Job Title: Project Director Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Director to lead a diverse portfolio of land and built form projects.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Engineering or Property Development (or similar), and minimum 6-8 years practical experience as a project manager client-side delivering projects within the property and construction industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various project management activities including project delivery, programme management, cost management, quality and risk management, supervision of direct reports, reporting, communication and stakeholder management, and coordinating project/client meetings.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead project delivery across multiple projects and industries.
  • Manage project programming/scheduling tasks using proprietary tools to meet project standards.
  • Coordinate cost control and budgetary requirements on assigned projects.
  • Monitor project quality, risk and compliance by developing project plans, risk and issue registers, and compliance reporting.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Prepare and maintain regular reporting.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management.
  • Coordinate project/client meetings.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary/TAFE qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Engineering or Property Development (or similar).
  • Current Western Australian 'A', 'C' or 'C-A' class Driver's Licence.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years practical experience as a project manager client-side delivering projects within the property and construction industry (or similar).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current project management methodology.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering significant projects from inception through to completion, and leading teams of project managers.
  • Significant experience in client relationship building activities and a strong existing network within industry.
  • Strong software competency in MS suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
