We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our team at YMCA Victoria. As an OSHC Educator, you will play a vital role in providing engaging experiences for young children and empowering them to reach their full potential.

About the Role

This is a casual position, with working hours varying from Monday to Friday, on a rostered basis between 7:00am - 9:00am and 2:30pm - 6:00pm. School Holidays shifts vary across 6:30am - 6:30pm. The hourly rate for the position is between $33 - $38 p/hour (depending on your qualification & experience) + 11.5% super.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in our Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote learning and development
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the school community
  • Work collaboratively with the OSHC team and Coordinator to achieve program goals

Requirements
  • You'll need to have either completed or be working towards an ACECQA-approved qualification (see the link below) - or willing to enrol in a course
  • You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
  • You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children's Check - employee check
