This is a role where you get to combine your passion for fashion and creativity with technical skills. As a key member of the design team, you will play a crucial part in delivering on-trend designs that elevate product desirability, strengthen customer engagement, and enhance market performance.

About This Role
  • You will be responsible for designing innovative and original garments that align with our brand's creative vision.
  • You will select premium fabrics and trims that meet our high standards.
  • Garment sketches and range boards showcasing our designs will need to be created accurately.
  • Final fittings and product approvals ensuring exceptional quality will need to be overseen.
  • Collaboration with Product Developers will bring new ideas to life.
  • Regular market research and trend forecasting will help stay ahead of the curve.
  • Fittings will need to be conducted to ensure seamless garment construction.
  • Daily fabric and trim approvals will be required for consistency across all designs.
To Succeed In This Role
  • You will need a bachelor's degree in fashion design or a related field.
  • Three years' experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of garment construction and fitting processes will be necessary.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills are essential.
  • A good understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop will be beneficial.
  • Microsoft Excel skills should also be at an intermediate level.
  • Yardage design skills are necessary as well as technical drawing skills.
