About the Role

We're seeking a talented Creative Fashion Professional to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our brand's creative vision by delivering trend-aware fashion designs that elevate product desirability, strengthen customer engagement, and enhance market performance.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design innovative and original garments that meet our high standards
  • Select premium fabrics and trims that align with our brand aesthetic
  • Create accurate garment sketches and range boards to effectively communicate your designs
  • Oversee final fittings and product approvals to ensure quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with Product Developers to bring your designs to life
  • Conduct regular market research and trend forecasting to stay ahead of the curve
  • Participate in fittings to ensure a perfect fit
  • Provide daily fabric and trim approvals to ensure timely production
  • Ensure consistency and originality across all designs
Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A bachelor's degree in fashion design or a related field
  • 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of garment construction and fitting processes
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Upper-Intermediate Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Yardage design skills
  • Technical drawing skills
