Fire Protection Technician

Our company is seeking a skilled Fire Protection Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will travel to Defence sites for remedial and maintenance works, maintaining and servicing all wet fire systems and firefighting equipment.

This role is based in West Sydney area and involves routine inspections, testing, servicing, and installation of wet fire systems - sprinklers, hydrants, hoses, and pumps.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Cert III in Fire Protection and a strong understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine inspections and testing of wet fire systems
  • Servicing and installing wet fire systems and firefighting equipment
  • Assisting with customer quotations and identifying remedial work
