About Our Rural General Practice:

Established in the heart of a rural community, our medical centre has a full-time position available for a dedicated General Practitioner, Rural Generalist or General Practice Registrar. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Working with a diverse range of patients, you will be supported by a team of experienced Rural Generalists/General Practitioners, nurses and support staff. Our practice is conveniently located near a local rural hospital and ambulance service, ensuring seamless referrals and emergency responses.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their procedural skills and expand their scope of practice as needed. We are committed to supporting your professional growth and development, providing ongoing mentorship and training opportunities.

After-Hours Support:

  • We offer a comprehensive after-hours roster system, ensuring that all patient presentations are triaged and prioritized by our experienced hospital nursing staff prior to contacting the on-call doctor.
  • Our on-call roster is shared among local doctors, promoting a sense of community and collaboration.

Opportunities for Growth:

We encourage applicants with non-procedural advanced skills, such as palliative medicine, mental health or adult internal medicine, to develop or expand existing services provided by our medical team.
