The RoleWe're seeking a Pricing and Analytics Specialist to play a pivotal role in assessing, analysing, and optimising our pricing strategy to deliver our key strategic goals in growth and profitability. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and delivering our core pricing models, gathering and analysing inputs into that model, and providing data-driven insights to inform our pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and deliver pricing models to ensure accurate outputs for budgeting, regular reporting, and special commercial initiatives.
- Utilise data analysis and market trends to assess pricing opportunities, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for pricing strategies.
- Develop and implement robust control reporting mechanisms to ensure our business adheres to our pricing policies.
- Collaborate with our Data team to define requirements for reporting and ad hoc analysis, leveraging data to drive informed decisions and actionable insights.
- Assist in crafting compelling business cases for product and pricing changes, drawing on your analytical skills and market knowledge to support strategic decision-making.
- Dive deep into customer behaviour and the effectiveness of our marketing and sales efforts to uncover valuable insights that shape our pricing strategy and drive business growth.
- 3+ years experience in financial modelling, ideally in a financial services environment.
- Proven experience in pricing analysis and strategy development.
- Experience in business case development.
- Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in VBA beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in analysis tools or software, such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, PowerBI, or Tableau.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
